Our Board & Train programs offer immersive, structured training in a home environment, perfect for busy owners or dogs needing a fresh start.
Your dog stays with a professional trainer and works daily on the behaviours and skills that matter most.
At the end of their stay, you’ll get a transition lesson and lifetime support to help keep progress going strong at home.

Foundational Board & Train
Duration: Two Weeks
Cost: $3000.00 + HST
Who is this for? The two week program is our most basic program and is only for dogs needing help with basic house manners and loose leash walking. While your dog is with us, we will start the foundations for their recall; however, there is no off-leash obedience included in this program.
What's Included: Slip Leash, Herm Sprenger Prong Collar (as needed), Place Bed, a 1-2 hour transfer lesson at the end of the board & train, three free follow up lessons, and support for the life of your dog via text, email, or phone.

"The Works" Board & Train [Most Popular]
Duration: Four Weeks
Cost: $4000.00 + HST
Who is this for? The four week program is our most popular program for a reason, covering a vast variety of training goals. From reactivity and resource guarding, to off-leash freedom, this program will send your dog home with a variety of new skills on leash and off leash.
What's Included: Slip leash, Herm Sprenger Prong Collar (as needed), Place Bed, E-Collar Technologies brand E-Collar, generalized field trips to local stores and suburbs, a 1-2 hour transfer lesson at the end of the board & train, three free follow up lessons, and support for the life of your dog via text, email, or phone.

Premium Board & Train
Duration: Six Weeks
Cost: $6000.00 + HST
Who is this for? The six week program is practical for all the dogs included in the four week program, but may be recommended by your trainer to give extra time to practice your dog's new skills and proof them in situations your dog may find challenging such as stores, walks in certain parks, or patios. This program is more catered towards dogs with particular struggles and has more flexibility to train in specific scenarios that your dog may struggle with as opposed to standard field trips.
What's Included: Slip leash, Herm Sprenger Prong Collar (as needed), Place Bed, E-Collar Technologies brand E-Collar, extra field trips catering to your dog's specific issues, a 1-2 hour transfer lesson at the end of the board and train, three free follow up lessons, and support for the life of your dog via text, email, or phone.

Refresher Week
Duration: One Week (multiple weeks may be purchased)
Cost: $850.00 + HST
Who is this for? This program is only eligible for dogs who have fully completed training programs with Civil Canine. During this week, we will refresh your dog on the skills they already know that might have gotten a little rusty. No new curriculum is included in this program.
What's Included: A one hour lesson at the end of the week to update you on all the training and give you a little refresher yourself! If you require any equipment that may have been misplaced, it can be purchased separately upon request.
